Gaya: A local court has sent RJD MLA Kunti Devi’s son Ranjit Yadav, accused of thrashing a doctor of a government health facility, to 14 days’ judicial custody.

Yadav surrendered on Friday before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Sampat Lal in the case relating to assault on Dr Satyendra Kumar Sinha of a Primary Health Centre at Neemchak Bathani in Gaya, reports DNA.

As per the complaint registered by Dr Sinha, Ranjit Yadav and his associates allegedly asked him to show them the attendance register of employees, which he denied. Following the denial, the accused severely beat up the doctor.
